WORKING GROUPs
The MetroWest Food Collaborative's working groups are made up of members who have committed time to advance specific policy and programmatic changes in service of our mission and vision. Our working group members focus on the two priority areas listed below:

Advocacy

-
Assist in planning the Annual Food Access Summit (typically in January).
-
Host an advocacy training.
-
Keep up to date with the coalitions and advocacy efforts with which we are involved.
-
Support community members in getting involved with our advocacy efforts.
Community Engagement
-
Support us in identifying and connecting to community sites and events with underserved populations so that we can provide education and application support to residents who may be eligible for SNAP & WIC.
-
Advise us on the best ways to document our impact on closing the regional SNAP/WIC Gaps and to collect data that goes beyond the numbers.
